Centro Vela is a highly professional lead sailing school, located in the small village of Cerro di Laveno, on the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore in the North Italian Lakes Region.
It is fully recognised by the Italian Sailing Federation (F.I.V.). Since its launch 1997, over 6000 adults and children have discovered a love for sailing and nature.

Our school can offer you different options to enjoy the lake:
With small sailing boats (dinghies) and cabin cruiser. Collective sailing courses on a regular basis. Individual personalied lessons or courses are offered upon request for single persons or special groups as well as introductory sailing week-end for beginners.
Small boats and cabin cruisers are available for rent with or without skipper for half a day, full day, or several days.
We are specialized in Team Building: our corporate offers range from racing (match race, fleet race) to cruising on the lake

Lake Maggiore is the second largest lake in Italy, it is found at the foot of the Alps between Piedmont and Lombardy and it extends into Switzerland. It has beautiful landscapes, very clean waters and a history dating back to Roman times.
